The fourth-annual Massey Knakal Brooklyn Real Estate Summit is coming up soon. This year’s conference will take place on September 17 at Stage 6 Steiner Studios, pictured above, and will focus on the real estate trends in New York’s fastest growing borough. Topics include retail and entertainment developments in the works and how they will affect real estate prices, what tech tenants look for in Brooklyn office space, what areas retail brands are eyeing in the borough, multifamily development, private-public partnerships, and opportunities in developing neighborhoods such as Flatbush and Kensington. The organizers are expecting 500 attendees and speakers, including Joseph Sitt, CEO of Thor Equities; Jeffrey Levine, Chairman of Douglaston Development; Andrew Kimball, former CEO of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp. and new director-level hire at Jamestown Properties; and Brownstoner founder Jonathan Butler. Massey Knakal is also hosting an after-party, where Bob Marley’s former band, The Wailers, will perform.
