Closing Bell: No Dogs for BBP

According to DumboNYC, the Brooklyn Bridge Park lawn is closed for the winter and will reopen in spring 2012 as a dog free park. The ban is consistent with all the other grass sections of BBP. There’s still the Main Street Dog run and dogs are still allowed on pathways and promenades. There are a few comments up at Dumbo NYC, two of which read, “As a dog owner, I agree with the ban” and “As a dog owner I’m pissed.” And what do you think?
