Then apply for the Love Your Block Grant Award! NYC Service is partnering with Citizens Committee for New York City to award grants of $500 to $1,000 for block improvements that can be used toward various neighborhood renovations, such as cleaning vacant lots, planting tress in empty tree beds, and removing graffiti. You’ll also get support from city agencies to help revitalize your block, project planning and community-building assistance from Citizens Committee for New York City, and assistance with local media coverage for your event.
