If this post on FREE Williamsburg is to be believed, a bunch of middle-class white kids twenty-somethings (?) dressed up as ninjas on Saturday night and ran up and down North 6th Street smashing cars, upending garbage cans and harassing drivers. One tipster also said she heard them chanting “Take Back the Night” (a famous anti-rape refrain) and theorized that it could all have had something to do with the Anarchist Book Fair that was going on. Let’s hope the cops were the ones who got to take back the night.

there was a guy in front of brooklyn bowl with a tank of nitrous oxide filling up balloons with it. it was after a concert tho – i doubt there’s really a problem with whippits street pushers (yet)
not sure if there’s a different term for it being in a balloon!!

well now; if these ninja thugs were from the projects, i’m sure most of you would be losing your minds right now…beating a path to the local precint calling for heads to roll; these animals should be jailed.
The area is in need of drug rehab – anyone besides the ninja thugs willing to go public with this….. no, no, no!

It’s nice that all these trustafarians can enjoy a night out. Hopefully their mommies and daddies can bail them out. It is just so much fun to yell slogans and smash things up, knowing that the folks in Connecticut will come to their rescue.
Last year at Purim I saw an orthodox kid and his posse dressed like pimps in fur outfits with money tucked into their hatbands. I think it was probably them – it was just around the corner.
This is why cops call hipsters “marshmallows”.
