Closing Bell: Community Board Committee Likes Two Trees' Domino Proposal

Last night, the land use committee of Community Board One approved Two Trees’ new plan for the Domino Sugar refinery site. The vote was seven to one, with one committee member recused. The board said it favored Two Trees’ promise to provide 660 units of “affordable” housing and also recommended a different mix of subsidized apartments as well as hiring locally.

Next the proposal will go to the full community board for review.
