Yesterday the New York Post wrote a story on how mega-developer Joe Sitt may not be the only one making enemies at Coney Island. The park’s operator, Zamperla, asked 11 of the boardwalk businesses (Including Shoot the Freak) to make business models outlining new marketing plans and potential upgrades. If they don’t convincingly defend their business, they run the risk of getting the boot. Says a boardwalk business owner: “We were the one’s here keeping Coney Island alive after everyone left it for dead, and, trust me, we’re not going without a fight!”

In other words, you’re as good as gone. Coney just gets worse and worse.

  2. An upgrade to Shoot the Freak would be shooting the Freak who stands there, yelling “Shoot the Freak”. The barker is a Freak and the guy that runs that is a disgusting game is the worst freak. Gimee a paintball gun and I’ll shoot the both of them. I HATE THAT GAME.
