Closing Bell: Make Music BK
Park Slope blog All About Fifth cruised down Fifth Avenue last night, recording impromptu concerts that were happening out on the street. It was part of Make Music NY, the forth year these free concerts have been celebrated in New York. For more information on Make Music NY events this summer, check our their website.

these dudes would seriously get the crap kicked out of them down here in the ridge. bwhahahah! come to think of it, we haven’t had any noteworthy fights in a while…
I love this idea
this happened a few months ago and it really made me smile!
5th avenue rocks!
I think the MMD is terrific. I only caught a little bit of music in Brooklyn, but I saw some amazing performances in Manhattan around lunch hour.

Don’t forget the Northside Festival that kicked off yesterday (apparently, bands playing on N7th and Bedford and N6th and Wythe on the sidewalk yesterday evening)
It’s sorta like this, except some of the bands are actually good.
