Chop Chop Grub Shop opened earlier this month at 638 Nostrand Avenue and is getting rave reviews from neighbors and on Yelp. The takeout shop, which also has a few counter seats, serves American fare and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu items include pancakes, a spinach omelet with Hudson Valley chevre and mesclun salad, a lobster roll, a Cajun club sandwich, a duck sandwich, lentil stew, braised fennel, short rib, lobster ragout and banana walnut bread.

I miss Frenchie and French Chips but this has better hours and great food too. the Cuban club is my favorite. I love to sit in the window and watch the avenue while eating. Wish there was more sidewalk width to support a few tables on the sidewalk.
