CB2 Approves Sidewalk Cafe at the Nu Hotel

At last week’s CB2 meeting more details emerged about the sidewalk cafe at the Nu Hotel, which was ultimately approved by the full board. (There was a public hearing last month.) The 25-table sidewalk cafe will be open to hotel guests and the general public. Most of the tables will be north of the entrance to the hotel but four tables will be towards the south, closer to Atlantic Avenue. There will not be any waiter service, but there is a restaurant inside the hotel serving light fare. There is no word on when it will open, though.
