coffee was quite good. not quite gorilla or southside quality, but well above average and easily the best in the neighborhood (so far–i’m looking at you cafe madeline.)
had a latte. extraction was good. foam was right. price fair.
very encouraging.
I tried it out over the weekend–a very nice spot. Great bagels and coffee, friendly staff, nice garden. There were lots of families with kids but that may change later in the day. I was there before 10AM.
I did not realize the Egyptians were known for their coffee…. and espresso. As they say, ya learn something new everyday!
that really does look like a nice space. wish them well

I can’t wait to try this place.
Looks beautiful!!
I poked my head in Wednesday and it is lovely, especially the back courtyard with waterfountain. Didn’t try coffee, I suspect it will pick up customers of the now-finally-closed-for-real-this-time Vox Pop. Awaiting the opening of their kitchen.
