Brownstoner Blog Empire Doubles in Size

Some of you may have noticed the “advertisement” for a new blog that’s been popping up amid the daily posts for the last few days. And a couple of you have already voiced your suspicions about the identity of the author. So to put a stop to the rumor mill (or, in this case, pepper grinder might be more accurate) we’ll make it official: We’ve launched a new blog–Under The Counter–that tries to have a little fun at Wall Street’s expense. This is all part of a master plan to get to a place where we no longer have to work on said Street and can pass the time fiddling with Movable Type and cruising the Corcoran website. To that end, we’d be mighty obliged if you could take a minute and post the url http://www.underthecounter.net/ into an email and shoot it along with a note of encouragement to all your friends who have the misfortune to work in the finance industry. Consider it a small experiment in viral marketing.
