After years of educating local palates in the wines of the world, the good men of Park Slope’s Red, White and Bubbly—co-owners Adam Goldstein and partner Darrin Siegfried—recently released their own line under the label Brooklyn Wine Co. The thing is, the wine is made in California (does anyone grow wine grapes in Brooklyn?), though it was crafted from a recipe dreamed up by Goldstein and Siegfried, “who wanted their wine to be high-quality, yet affordable ‘everyday’ vino,” The Brooklyn Paper reports. We’re not sure they’ll be able to sell us on its Brooklynness, but they’ve never steered us wrong with a wine recommendation yet. Anyone here tasted it?
