The Worst Cellphone Dead Zones [WSJ]
Most cell calls you overhear on the street are about nonsense/gossip. We pay verizon/t-mobile/sprint to bore our loved ones to death with rubbish on our way home! Technology is dumbing down every aspect of our lives. Oh to be a caveman!
Drop calls all the time on Dekalb and in my apt on Clinton-Lafayette.
I don’t think I used 25(talking) minutes last month.
Minard, people don’t like being alone with their own thoughts. They need constant stimulation to stave off the death anxiety of their unexamined lives.
Is it just me or are none of the red dots in fort greene despite b-stoner’s description?

What has happened over the course of the last fifteen years that has compelled humankind to switch from phoning their friends and family once in a while, when there was actually something to report, to speaking with them constantly every waking minute?
i’ve never had a problem anywhere with my phone and i use one of those 10 dollar cheapie anonymous drug dealer / terrorist phones.
*rob*
In and around Atlantic Center – terrible. I can send and receive text messages there, but no phone calls.
I want to live where cell phones don’t work!
