Take a two-hour tour of Brooklyn’s waterfront, past and present, from aboard the luxury yacht the Kingston.
Brooklyn Brainery, Turnstile Tours and Classic Harbor Line present a narrated outing through Brooklyn’s industrial past and current resurgence from the very water that stymied so much of the borough’s history.
The Kingston will pass the Brooklyn Navy Yard, then head south through Red Hook, Gowanus Bay, Industry City, Bush Terminal and the Brooklyn Army Terminal.
Brooklyn Waterfront Past and Present will be narrated by New York Environment Report editor Sarah Creane. It will depart from Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 5 on Saturday, October 10, cruising from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tickets are $54 and include a free drink for those 21 and older. Advance tickets are required and available online.

I hope the luxury yacht you are referring to is not the one in the picture. This is very far from luxury.
It’s a 1920s style luxury yacht. (I don’t work for them, I’ve just been out with them before. It’s a very nice experience.)
