House of the Day

In the Crown Heights North Historic District at 1349 Pacific Street, this 1878 brownstone is graceful and quite lovely, with plenty of original detail and modern updates. Designed by noted 19th century Brooklyn architect Amzi Hill, it’s got five working fireplaces with fetching carved marble mantels, pocket doors and shutters, inlaid floors, stained glass, moldings and medallions, all in fine condition.
