The sidewalks of some Brooklyn neighborhoods saw the return of swarms of candy seekers as costumed revelers took advantage of the crisp fall day to enjoy a return to Halloween traditions.

Clever candy chutes, which appeared last year to provide a bit of whimsy to the socially distanced candy delivery, were still in use along with an abundance of spooky decor, parades for children and patient dogs attired in Halloween finery.
