The FAB Alliance and American Opera Projects are hosting a two-hour excursion through the changing neighborhood — looking at new institutions like the Center for Fiction, past public art enlivening the streets and through leafy residential side streets. The history chat will be accompanied along the way by pop-up performances by American Opera Projects.
Leading the tour will be Fort Greene resident, licensed tour guide and Coordinator of the Rockwell Place Community Garden, Dr. Ron Janoff.
The tour takes place on Saturday, August 3 starting at 11 a.m., with other dates available until December. The tour is free but space is limited so registration is required. For more information on the tour or to register visit their event page here.
