We’re in the ninth week of sheltering in place and the 39th day of home schooling for New York City schools.

The state order to stay at home has been extended to May 28 for New York City, although other areas upstate are beginning a partial reopening. As soon as New York City meets the seven benchmarks outlined by Cuomo, then manufacturing, construction, and curbside retail can reopen with social distancing and mask wearing in place, The New York Times said.
