Rob – I have no idea – I seriously couldn’t stomach the site with all the complaints about bad nannies not showing up to work today to lonely sex lives and whatnot
omg – go check it out
going to other boards has taught me the lesson to really appreciate this board soooooo much more!
mopar- feel ya. I tossed mine when we moved, and of course hadn’t replaced them. Luckily my wife was home from work today, and has the same size foot. whew.
UGH so now that I am prego I check out baby websites with message boards to get tips/advice etc – so I checked out URBANBABY and went on the local NYC board
OMG – so. not. the. place. for. me – between the posts about how to get their children into Dalton when their last name isn’t very famous to postings from women who aren’t getting any to some nut job asking for a festive recipe for a NYE party she;s hosting(for 4) and people seriously offered up FONDUE! – I mean fondue isn’t a meal for crissakes – it’s a novelty, an appetizer at best – if I went to someone’s house expecting dinner and was served fondue I would not be happy!
I could see you all doing a blog wilding over that place easily……..
Dean has been plowed, but not our block, which *still* has two buses (and drivers) stuck there, and a good 4′ of snow all the way down. Curious what they’re going to do about that.
Went to shovel out the car (broke-ass ’95 Maxima, for the record) and saw that someone else must have thought it was theirs (a common occurance – there are several in the same color in the immediate area) and had busted a path to our door, de-iced it, and pushed the drivers-side snow around, but not cleared it out yet. I had it running and was shoveling it out when he came back to do it, and looked mightily confused.

I mislaid my rain boots somewhere and didn’t even go outside because the snow is too deep.
Had to work from home though so have been on the phone all day fruitlessly calling people who of course are not home.
What a waste of a day. 🙁
