Around this time of year, we always discover a renewed interest in dessert. We spend more time baking at home, and when we’re out to eat, we’ll opt for a lighter meal — to save room for some after-dinner sweets. The chocolate bridge from the River Cafe is one of the most memorable desserts we’ve tried, but we also love the rustic Italian cookies at Locanda Vini & Olii in Clinton Hill and the heavenly French pastries at Provence en Boite on Smith Street. Any recommendations on Brooklyn restaurants that serve to-die-for desserts?

CHOCOLATE ROOM is incredible.. chocolate layer cake to die for. Also i second the nomination for Sweet Melissa … just came home with a petite chocolate Soufflé cake from there it is amazing. Just put it in the microwave for :30..oh my too good to be true.
Sweet Melissa makes desserts that only angels deserve to eat. Imagine passion fruit cheesecake! They are on 7 Ave and 1st St in Park Slope, and originally on Court St in Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill.
Saul. I believe I last had was a passion fruit souffle cake with a lime-mango sorbet — to die…But they are all wonderful!
the chocolate room on 5th ave. they’re pretty much only desserts.
