A mural called “Diary of Brooklyn” is going up inside Barclays, and the 70-foot-long art work will be unveiled to the public tonight, Curbed reported yesterday. You can see the Brooklyn-based artist, José Parlá, working on the abstract mural in the photo above. The mural is meant to “capture the energy and vitality of the borough” and was inspired by James Agee’s book “Brooklyn Is,” according to Curbed.
