Explore the past, present and future of the Brooklyn Cultural District this weekend with a walking tour that mixes history with a bit of performance.
The FAB Alliance and American Opera Projects are hosting a two-hour excursion through the changing neighborhood — past institutions new and old, public art and residential streets. The walk will have its own soundtrack of sorts, with pop-up performances by American Opera Projects.

Leading the tour will be Fort Greene resident, licensed tour guide and Coordinator of the Rockwell Place Community Garden, Dr. Ron Janoff.
The tour takes place on Saturday, July 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s free, but reservations are required as space is limited. For more information or to reserve a spot, click here.
