A/X Armani Exchange is coming to Downtown Brooklyn and will be the first tenant at City Point on the Fulton Mall, Acadia Realty Trust and developer Washington Square Partners announced yesterday. It’s set to open next month at Fulton and Albee Square; Century 21 will move in later. Meanwhile, in an unrelated story, the Wall Street Journal said Brooklyn’s downtown has lost its “stepchild status” because businesses are relocating there from Manhattan.
