Brooklyn Based recently wrote about the Donna Da Vine wine store on Atlantic and Hoyt that will be expanding next door. The addition, a gourmet grocery and beer store called Da Vine Provisions, should be pretty cool. It’ll sell local products, and best of all, have a good selection of local beers and specialty beers from the Pacific Northwest. The owner plans to host beer tastings when they open, in the second week of May. GMAP
Westword Expansion [Brooklyn Based]
I had one of my wedding parties at the previous space across the street, and the owner and her employees are awesome. One of the nicest most accomodating people I ever met/did business with, and all knowledgeable and helpful regarding wine choices. And the food was delicious. A++
Nice. I live very nearby but have never been in, not being much of a wine drinker. But very glad to hear a small local business is doing well. And the expansion sounds like a nice addition! (The space used to be a tiny, highly curated boutique, and I always wondered how it stayed in business with only about 10 items for sale…)
Very nice lady, glad they have weathered the storm unscathed. One of he best additions to the nabe in recent years.
