New building applications were filed today for a 23-story apartment building at 237 Duffield Street in downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Urban Tectonics, the 223-foot-high tower will have 108 units spread across 85,297 square feet of residential space. The 7,500-square-foot site was originally supposed to become a hotel developed by V3 Hotels, which built the Indigo Hotel down the block at 229 Duffield. The developer purchased the property between Willoughby and Fulton Streets in 2007 for $9,500,000.
