The rentals at 44 Berry have been around for awhile, but the retail space is finally seeing some action. Signage is up for Mable’s Smokehouse and Banquet Hall. According to a tipster on Eater, the new spot will offer “super simple roadside BBQ of the South.” The space next door is a little more mysterious, but the DOB permit is for an eating and drinking establishment of some sort. With the record store Sound Fix also next door, that’s not a bad stretch of retail to live on top of! GMAP
