150-bond-11-09.jpgThe sale of 150 Bond Street, which was a House of the Day a number of times, was recorded in public records yesterday. The price: $1,400,000. The property, which was pitched as a gutted blank slate that would allow its new owner to “build your dream house in Boerum Hill,” first hit the market asking $2,495,000 in March ’08. The price was cut several times until it was asking $1,595,000 this summer. The seller purchased it for $1,725,000 in September ’07. This one seems like it was a victim of unrealistic pricing from the get-go and a down market in which fixer-uppers are a tough sell.

  1. “Thank you, thank you, for being the calm voice of reason in this sea of cacophonous and vitriolic arguments.

We could all learn something from Miss Muffett.”

Which will it be for you, stevieb, calm reason or vitriol??

  2. Kenny boy, it is not cool to make fun of the homeless. There is nothing funny about being homeless.

Of course, foreigners like you don’t tend to have any empathy towards those who are unlucky enough to end up on the streets.

  3. I think we should all have some wine.

Today is the first day of the Beaujolais Nouveau and Olivino (Marcus Garvey & Macon) is having free tasting tonight from 6:00 – 8:00. See you there around 7:00 or so and then we can all go to Saraghina.

  4. Do you actually think I care about my grammar on some blog? I am working while looking at this so I could care less how it comes out. I don’t proof read. This is just for entertainment unlike your preaching moronic ways.

  5. Dumbass, English is not my first language and I still have better reading comprehension than you lol. Loser, why don’t you go and “investigate” me some more. If you read this blog long enough, you would have known exactly where I am from and how long I am in this country.
