  1. “and I look forward to continued civilized and informative discussions in 2009.”

unlike those I’ve been having with other posters (such as those who post at 3:51pm…hint, hint)

  2. What, interesting story. And I’m glad you’re not advocating for DIBS’s demise. I’ll be off for a couple of weeks but want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas / Channukah / Kwanzaa and joyful new year, including you What. I’m very glad we’ve been able to find a way to keep things civil between us this holiday season (thanks for that) and I look forward to continued civilized and informative discussions in 2009.

  3. Poster 3:22, if you need the name of someone to help you exfoliate your innards of your gut renovation, I can recommend someone. He’ll does wonders.

I feel the same way. I feel like I’ve pilastered on too much trim, my base is still small, but too big of a saddle and not enough crown.

  4. Hey Dave enjoy your job..

Dec. 23 (Bloomberg) — Thierry Magon de La Villehuchet, who ran a fund that invested with Bernard Madoff, was found dead at his office today in an apparent suicide, according to a police officer at the scene.

De la Villehuchet, 65, was a co-founder and chief executive officer of Access International Advisors, according to a marketing document. Access, based in New York, invested $1.4 billion with Madoff, who was arrested on Dec. 11 for allegedly running a $50 billion Ponzi scheme.

Police were called to the Madison Avenue office about 7:30 a.m., said New York Police spokeswoman Doris Otero. She declined to provide a cause of death.

Before the Asshats blow a fuse! I’m not advocating for Dave’s demise. I’m pointing out the hardships of the imploding Mutant Asset Bubble and how many people are affected by it!

Happy Holiday’s to all my Asshats!

  5. Every thread today was the Open Thread. That’s what happens when they don’t give us ne’er-do-wells, vagabonds and riff raff a place to play. Regarding “Gut Renovation: Where to Start?”, I think I’ll need a gut renovation after all I’ve been eating and expect to eat during the holidays. I need to get back into shape for the Brownstoner Bubble Bath Party.
