From the Forum: How to Store Bikes Under the Stoop and Prevent Rust?

A reader wants to use the storage space beneath their stoop to store bikes, but is having problems with rust. The resident lives in the garden apartment and uses the entryway beneath the stoop, and doesn’t want to remove the door for aesthetic reasons. Please chime in with any advice in the comments.
