From the Forum: Staying on Top of Roof Maintenance

They haven’t had any water issues yet, but to stay ahead of any potential problems homeowners are looking for some roof advice. When they bought the house five years ago they were told that the roof was five or so years old. What should they know about regular inspections and maintenance so they don’t get talked into replacing a roof before its time?
