From the Forum: Breaking a Lease on a Possibly Illegal SRO Conversion

    Renters have been advised by their lawyer that the building they are living in is still classified as an SRO. The lawyer’s opinion is that the property was illegally converted and advised them to stop paying rent. The renters are looking for some additional advice on how they should handle the situation.
