From the Forum: Are Other Landlords Giving Renters Reductions in Rent?

A reader with a small number of rental units is curious what concessions other landlords might be making for tenants during the pandemic. One of their tenants who packed up and left the city asked for a reduced rent since they are not using the apartment. What rent reductions or other arrangements are landlords working through with tenants?
