From the Forum: Is There an Option Other Than Polyurethane for Sealing Refinished Wood Floors?
A landlord is looking for an alternative to polyurethane after refinishing the original wood floors in a rental unit.

The floors are being refinished in a rental apartment and the landlord is wondering if there are any new products to consider instead of sticking with polyurethane. They used a water-based poly in their own living room and it hasn’t held up well. Any suggestions on a different product to consider? Or, should they just stick with water-based poly but increase the number of coats?
Please chime in with your advice.
