From the Forum: Dealing With Neighbors and an Overhanging Tree
A massive tree trunk extends into the backyards of four properties, creating a bit of a conundrum for one property owner.
A massive tree trunk extends into the backyards of four properties, creating a bit of a conundrum for one property owner. The bulk of the tree sits on their property and an adjoining homeowner has begun tossing all the falling branches and leaves into their yard. While the neighbors can prune the portions of the tree that extend into their property, is it legal for them to be tossing the organic material into other yards? How should the homeowner approach their neighbor about the situation?
Please chime in with any advice.
