The multi-family building has new gas pipes but two meters are showing that there is a slow leak. The general contractor confirmed the leak is in the piping and not in any appliances but doesn’t want to find or fix the leak, claiming it passed DOB inspection standards. How concerned should the building owner be about the issue? What can they expect when ConEd comes to install new meters?
Please chime in with your advice.
