A row house owner has water seeping into their basement through a party wall and are concerned about getting their neighbors to repair the problem. The neighbor’s financial situation may not allow them to address the issue.
To avoid a contentious situation, advice is being sought. How should they approach the neighbors about getting problem inspected and dealt with? Will they need to pay for part of the cost, or all of it, in order to get the job done?
