From the Forum: Should a Buyer Let Their Lawyer Also Represent the Lender?

    New to the buying process, a first-time homeowner is looking for advice on a request from their lawyer. The attorney is asking the buyer to sign a letter agreeing to let them also represent the lender in the process. Are there any reasons this would be a problem?
