From the Forum: Installing a Mini-Split on the Roof

    A new mini-split system is being installed and a homeowner is considering placing the condenser unit on the roof. An architect advised that because of its small size, installing it on the flat roof of the house shouldn’t be a problem. What regulations should the homeowner be aware of before going this route?
