From the Forum: Purchasing a Gut Renovated House
The house is in contract and the buyers are having doubts.
The gut renovated house is in contract and the buyers are having doubts. After a protracted process there’s still no closing date and a recent visit found that the brand new wooden deck had three feet removed from each side so that it could pass inspection. The deck is now significantly smaller and the construction is looking shoddy. Should they be concerned about what else might be wrong?
Please chime in with your advice.
