From the Forum: Should Homebuyers Take a Risk and Buy a House With an Incomplete Reno?
After a long hunt some homebuyers have found a house that has the location, layout and amount of space they are looking for, but a major renovation was never completed.
After a long hunt some homebuyers have found a house that has the location, layout and amount of space they are looking for, but a major renovation was never completed. Plans were approved, the house was gutted and then worked stopped. Inspections by contractors and a structural engineer haven’t found any major issues. What pros and cons should they consider?
