Relocating From the City? These Westchester Towns Rival the Hamptons -- for Half the Price

Do you have questions about moving to the suburbs? Join an evening of conversation hosted by Brownstoner Home Events, with representatives from Houlihan Lawrence, who will discuss relocating to Westchester.

Topics discussed at this “Moving to the ‘Burbs” event will be the advantages of suburban vs. city living (no personal income tax), and a description of the many charms of neighborhoods including the Sound Shore area, Bedford/Pound Ridge and Greenwich, Conn.

“Northern Westchester has seen a resurgence in recent years of folks from Brooklyn for full time homes as well as weekend getaways,” said Brendon DeSimone, manager of the Bedford/Pound Ridge office. “North Salem, Katonah and Bedford feature incredible properties, with pool, tennis and private lakes, that rival those found in the Hamptons, for half the price.”
