Find out other things you need to know — whether you’re moving into new construction or a resale, an apartment or a house — from a panel of experts at the next evening in the Brownstoner Home Events series. The event takes place on Tuesday, March 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Plaxall Gallery at 5-25 46th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens.

Gotham Insurance will be represented and will explain the intricacies of homeowner insurance — what is covered and what is not.
