I’ll second that, rob. Come over sometime and we’ll give you a tour. Don’t worry- MM and I will protect you 😉
Rob, it’s a hot day on a holiday, I don’t know why I’m on this site. I can only encourage you to come over here some time and see for yourself. Enjoy your day.
CGar, E-bil!!!!
this whole conversation actually upsets me the most about human beings in general. ugh

I was on the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday when they rescued that would-be jumper > > >
Unbelievable number of rescue vehicles and workers.
Given that he was going to jump near the exit ramp, into a construction parking lot, and not into the river, it didn’t look like the fall would’ve killed him.

Rob, I think I could talk my cute kid into walking through Crown Heights with you.
lol, well that would be the most strange thing ever! let’s say im a dude holding hands with another dude (btw i find that totally stupid looking, even with straight people) where would i most likely get nasty stares and perhaps gay bashed!? conservative areas of the south and crime ridden areas in the north. sorry, but it’s a fact!

Montrose, okay fine. Perhaps i have a perceived bias of the area based on many accounts of people being gay bashed in the area. i dont know, sorry but even when i lived in harlem i was called a faggot to my face many times. that’s never happened to me in park slope. it’s not a race thing tho, cuz im sure i’d be called a faggot in white areas of some places too. i can definitely think of a few. poor people and conservatives (and it’s a double whammy when you combine the two) people generally dont.like.homos. why is that hard to understand?

i wound up at a flea market in a school this weekend near i think the jay street metrotech stop. bought a painting from some 12 year old that looked exactly like my dog! and a neon pink ashtray. it was more of an art fair than a flea market. im totally gonna be broke this week, but the painting was worth it (the ashtray too). i talked to the curators/people running it and told them that they should catalogue all the students’ work and make an archive of it. there’s kindakind of a lack (i think) of “kids art” that is available for commercial reproduction. they were very open to the idea. i think i did a good thing.
