Another day, another Bed Stuy house with details and in need of renovation asking nearly a million clams. While the late-Victorian style of the mantels and some of the other details doesn’t float our boat as much as some other periods, this was a high-end house when built and should make a nice home for someone brave enough to take on the renovation. It’s currently set up as a top-floor rental over an owner’s duplex. What do you think of it for $999,000?

Doesn’t look like anybody “developed” anything — nor was there time to do so, with all those flips! As frightening as it is, prices soaring so fast, part of me (the real estate whore part) has to admire those who are able to make that kind of profit happen for themselves.
