Chic, Modern Boerum Hill Townhouse Back on Market for $2.19 Million Below Initial Ask
The sellers of this luxe, contemporary single-family Boerum Hill townhouse are back with a different broker and a significantly lowered price of $5.8 million.

If this luxe, contemporary single-family Boerum Hill townhouse looks familiar, it may be because we featured it as a house of the day just over a year ago, in February 2015. At the time, the house — a converted warehouse at 90 Wyckoff Street — was on the market for a staggering $7.2 million, which was a drop from the even-more-staggering initial ask of $7.99 million.
It seems the adjusted figure was still more than even this pie-in-the-sky market can bear, so the sellers are back with a different broker and a significantly lowered price of $5.8 million.
That’s still a pretty eye-popping sum, of course, but it’s an eye-popping property — vast, modern and sporting some distinctive spaces.
That includes the massive, skylit atrium that makes up the living room — or “great room.” There’s a winding, glass-walled steel staircase that’s skylit from the top, a double-height rear-facing glass wall, a long, sleek open kitchen with banks of white cabinets, and a heated two-car garage that opens into the home, so you can come and go like Batman.

There are also three outdoor spaces, including a small ground-floor patio, a roof deck, and a large and attractive landscaped terrace with a pergola on the second floor, with a second mini-kitchen to service it.
The bedroom setup is pretty straightforward — there are four of them, two moderately sized and two larger ones with wood-burning fireplaces.
So the question is, what’s this house (which, by the way, carries an annual tax burden of nearly $17,000) ultimately going to fetch? “I’m guessing $5.75 [million] gets it done,” was the prediction of one commenter back when we last featured the house — which is right about where the price stands now. Others set $4.9 million and $4.2 million as realistic price points.
Of course that was over a year ago, and prices have climbed since then. What do you think this place will go for?
