83 st marks avenue prospect heights 82014

Here’s a spacious but pricey one-bedroom garden apartment in a 21-foot-wide Prospect Heights brownstone. The apartment has a nice, deep living room with prewar details and a large bedroom. The kitchen isn’t particularly fancy, but it offers a decent amount of cabinet space and a dishwasher.

There’s also a private patio leading to theĀ garden, which the renter shares with the homeowner. And the train access is pretty great: a few blocks from the 2/3 at Bergen or the B/Q at 7th Avenue, and about five blocks from all the trains at Barclays Center. What’s your opinion of it for $2,600 a month?

  1. Calling that strip Prospect Heights (or “Pro-Cro”), one would probably ask for the same price and I could see it going for that as well, even if I personally don’t think its worth that much!

  2. I agree, especially for that area; you’re in PH and right on the PS border, live in a transportation mecca, and aren’t far from Prospect Heights. The only thing that concerns me is the layout. While I can’t see the full layout, the fact that only the above picture posted is available leaves me to think that this is an “apartment” where the kitchen, bedroom, and common area are all in one long/big room. Still, given the price and the area, I don’t think its a bad deal, particularly as it is a one bedroom.
