Earlier this week The Wall Street Journal broke the news that the Kings County Distillery, which has been operating out of a 325-square-foot production facility in Bushwick since launching last year, will be moving into a new home in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. And it’s not just any home. The new 7,000-square-foot headquarters, located behind Admirals Row in the southwestern corner of the Yard, is known as the Paymaster Building (aka Building 121). It was built at the turn of the century and originally served as a bank for Navy Yard employees.
