Chompers Pekingese

Chompers, from Greenpoint, is a grumpy, giant, nine-year-old Pekingese. He has a fantastic underbite and generally behaves as if he thinks he is a cat. He enjoys sleeping on the backs of furniture, cuddling, chasing his ball and barking at other dogs.

Chompers was adopted from a rescue organization when he was four years old, and he’s lived with his owners in Brooklyn ever since.

Bizzy Gondelman-Kreizman is an eight-year-old pug who lives in Williamsburg. She enjoys clowning, napping, snorting, turkey, and peanut butter.

Chai, also from Greenpoint, was rescued from a Dumpster in Seattle seven years ago. She’s sophisticated and gorgeous and funny and grumpy and very sweet. Her resume of adoring fans is lengthy.

Her owners boast that in 2012 she was voted cutest cat in Greenpoint via Facebook by Greenpoint Vet!

  1. Please stop this! I’m embarrassed to even look at it. I’m just patiently waiting for Curbed or another site to pick up where Brownstoner sadly dropped the ball. As for now it’s just the forum category that’s worth anything.

  2. If anyone over at Curbed is paying attention and looking to make a name for themselves, perhaps it’s time to spin off a Brooklyn site. There’s a void to fill.
