Yet another forlorn industrial property near the BQE in Williamsburg will become an apartment building. New York YIMBY spotted permits for a seven-story residential project at 406 Manhattan Avenue, on the corner of Meeker and Manhattan avenues.

It will have 50 apartments distributed across 43,055 square feet of residential space, according to new building applications filed yesterday. The building will also have a backyard, 26 bike storage spots and a community room, per Schedule A filings. Curtis+Ginsberg Architects are the architects of record.

The developer, Rabsky Group, paid $9,700,000 for three commercial properties at Manhattan and Meeker in November. Two are brick factory buildings, and one is a wholesale beverage distributor.
