436 Albee Square downtown brooklyn

Yet another tower will rise next to City Point at 436 Albee Square in downtown Brooklyn. New York YIMBY reports that a 28-story, 150-unit, mixed-use high rise is coming to the lot, which currently houses a brownstone with rent-stabilized apartments.

The 143,200-square-foot development will have 23,740 square feet of retail space occupying the first three floors of the building, according to new building applications. The remaining 118,977 square feet will be residential. Its height will rival the larger of the first two City Point residential towers, YIMBY pointed out.

ODA Architecture will design the building, and the developer is Albee Square Hotel LLC. The LLC locked down 436-438 Albee for $9,100,000 in December, as previously reported.
